Holly DeGonia is a barrel horse trainer who has ranked with the top of the competition at IPRA and ACRA rodeos, Petrol Barrel Bash events, Heartland Tour barrel races, as well as several other barrel racing series on horses she has trained from start to finish. 

At DeGonia Performance Horses we specialize in raising and training horses that excel in many events including barrel racing, reining, roping, and other western events.  We believe that a good minded, athletic horse can excel in events he may not be specifically bred to do if he is broke enough to do so.  For this reason, we emphasize the importance of basic reining training on our young horses, as this teaches them the essential responsiveness and control they need to go on and excel in specific events such as barrel racing.
